Boston Police Investigate Fatal Pedestrian Accident in the area of Beacon Street & Charlesgate West
At about 3:34pm, on Sunday, May 19, 2013, officers from District D-4 (South End) responded to an accident involving a motor vehicle and a female bicyclist. On arrival, officers located a female victim suffering from what appeared to be life threatening injuries. As a result of injuries suffered in the accident, the bicyclist, a female in her early twenties, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives – assigned to the Boston Police Department’s Accident Reconstruction Team – are currently investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this accident. At present, the cause of the accident is still under investigation and no violations have been issued at this time.
UPDATE: Victims Identified in Connection to Double Fatal Shooting in the area of 416 Warren Street
At about 1:30pm, on Friday, May 3, 2013, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a call for a person or persons shot in the area of 416 Warren Street (Walgreens parking lot). On arrival, officers located two individuals suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. One victim, a male in his twenties, was pronounced at the scene. A second victim, a male in his twenties, was transported to Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased. The victims have since been identified as Misbam Wiggins, 23, of Boston and Tremayne Jackson, 22, of Boston.

On arrival, officers located a victim suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. That was pronounced deceased on the scene. That victim has since been identified as Maiqui Hernandez, 35, of Boston.

UPDATE: Second Arrest in Stabbing Death of Cherby LaJoie
This afternoon in Roxbury members of the Boston Police Fugitive Unit arrested Tarayiah Hunt, 21, of Dorchester on a warrant issued out of Dorchester Court charging her with the 10/06/2012 stabbing death of Cherby Lajoie at 11 Charles Street in Dorchester. She will be arraigned tomorrow in Dorchester District Court.
At about 1:12am, on Saturday, October 6, 2012, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a call for a person stabbed in the area of 11 Charles Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located a male victim in his late thirties suffering from what appeared to be multiple stab wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene. The victim has since been identified as Cherby LaJoie, 39, of Boston.

Victim of March 30, 2013 Fire in Fens Area Succumbs to Injuries
The victim has been identified as Allan Chasas, 47 of Abington.
At about, 6:11pm, Saturday March 30, 2013, officers from district D-4, (South End) responded to a radio call for a fire in the area of 59 Fenway Boston.
On arrival, officers observed a working fire in the weeds in the Fens close to the Mother Rest Playground.
The Boston Fire Department also responded. Officers were told by a witness, a person maybe in the water near the scene. Investigators believe the victim ran through the weeds and jumped into the water. The victim was treated for life threatening injuries and transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital where he later was pronounced deceased

Boston Police Seek Public’s Help in Efforts to Identify Vehicle Seen in the area of Death Investigation in the area 104 Minden Street
On March 31, 2013 at approximately 8:27pm, officers from District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 104 Minden Street. On arrival, officers observed a male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Brigham & Women’s Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.On the night of the homicide, the car depicted in the photograph below, was seen in close proximity to the incident. The Boston Police Homicide Unit is looking to locate and speak with the occupants of that car (a Ford Flex) that was seen in Jamaica Plain on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013.

West Canton Street Death Investigation
Early this morning at 6:38am officers from District D-4(South End) responded to 148 West Canton Street to investigate a man down.
On arrival officers located an unknown white male wearing a brown sweater, blue jeans, brown coat, brown boat shoes and red hat lying face down on the stairs. The male was pronounced deceased on scene. No visible injuries or trauma were observed on the victim.
