Identification Wanted: Boston Police Release Photos of Individual Wanted in Connection to Unarmed Robbery in East Boston

About 7:12 PM, on Thursday, 03/07/13, officers from District A-7 (East Boston) received a radio call for a hold-up alarm in the area of 470 Meridian St, East Boston (EXXON-MOBIL Gas Station).
On arrival, officers spoke to a visibly shaken and upset clerk who stated that a suspect attempted to rob the store. The victim stated a black male, dark complexion, 5’10″-6′, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, beard with medium thickness, and blue jeans entered the store. The victim observed the suspect’s hands reaching for his waistband area and at the same time stated “Come on, come on.. Just give me the money”. The victim refused to give the suspect the money and he repeated his statement again. The victim refused again and yelled at the suspect “Just get out of here”. The victim stated that the suspect then walked out of the store and headed in the direction of the Shore Plaza Development.
The suspect did not take anything from the store. A witness at Honey Dew Donuts located in the same store stated she heard the suspect enter the store and demand the money. The witness confirmed the description of the suspect. Officers canvassed the area to no avail.
