Great Police Work

Great Police Work

On a late Sunday night, in early April, Officer Polcaro of District A-7 (East Boston) was on patrol in the area of 32 Ashley Street when he observed two indviudals attacking and attempting to rob a lone victim. Thanks to the officer’s keen observation and immediate intervention, the assault stopped and the suspects fled the scene. A description of the suspects and their direction of flight was promptly broadcast over the police radio. Upon hearing the broadcast, Officers Espino, Dugal and Silva responded to the area in and around the Orient Heights train station. On arrival, an MBTA employee alerted the officers to two males who appeared to be running from something. According to the MBTA employee, the suspects had boarded a bus that was idling in front of the station. After boarding the bus, officers observed and apprehended the suspects wanted in connection to the armed robbery. Great teamwork!!!
