Driving through a Red Light on a Suspended License Lands One in Police Custody

At about 8:20am, on Tuesday, February 12, 2013, officers from District C-6 (South Boston) were stopped at the intersection of Allstate Road & Southampton Street when officers observed a gray motor vehicle fail to stop or run through a red light. Upon seeing the violation, officers activated their emergency equipment (lights & sirens) and stopped the car. After stopping the car, officers learned that the operator’s license had been suspended.

Officers arrested a 25 year-old male from Boston and charged him with Operating on a Suspended License. The operator also received a violation for Failing to Stop at a Red Light.
