UPDATE: Victim Identified in Death Investigation on Fawndale Road in Roslindale

At approximately 6:55pm, on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, officers from District E-5 (West Roxbury) responded to an inside scene at 28 Fawndale Road in Roslindale for a woman down. On arrival, officers located a female in her thirties suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene. The victim has since been identified as Carly Jones, 32, of Boston.

Boston Police Homicide detectives are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470.
