Said Traft’s manager/trainer Tim Stanton, “There’s nothing like seeing a fight at the Boston Garden. It’s really something special and if you’ve never been, it’s an evening of action packed excitement you don’t want to miss. I’m told there’s still plenty of good seats available for Saturday’s fights. As for Billy, he’s been training hard and he’s excited about fighting in front of his hometown fans.”
Traft will fight on the undercard of a main bout featuring the likes of Framingham’s Danny O’Connor who will be fighting Salem’s Derek Silveira.

O’Connor enters the fight is looking for his 20th victory. He is a two-time national amateur champ with a 19-1 professional record which includes seven KOs. O’Connor is ranked 15th in the world by the International Boxing Federation (IBF) and 22nd in the World Boxing Council (WBC) rankings.
