Boston Police Release Picture of Suspect Wanted in Connection to an Armed Robbery in East Boston

At about 7:40pm, on Thursday, January 3, 2013, officers from District A-7 (East Boston) responded to a call for an armed robbery at 470 Meridian Street (Mobil Gas Station). On arrival, officers spoke to the clerk who stated that the suspect (see picture) entered the store, pointed a shotgun at him and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the store on foot.

Detectives from District A-7 are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked call detectives at (617) 343-4234.

Community members wishing to assist this investigation anonymously can do so by calling the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1(800) 494-TIPS or texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463). The Boston Police Department will stringently guard and protect the identities of those who wish to remain anonymous.
