Boston Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in Roxbury

At about 1:38am, on Friday, December 28, 2012, while on patrol in the area of Holworthy Street, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) overheard shots fired from the area of Harold Street and Harrishof Street. Officers were redirected to respond to 131 Harold Street for a person shot.

On arrival, officers located a 39 year old male victim, outside on the porch suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. The victim, , was transported to the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in critical condition. He later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

The Boston Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
