Boston Police Investigate a Shooting on Homestead Street in Roxbury
At about 10:15pm on Thursday, December 6th, 2012, officers in District 2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for shots fired in the area of 68 Homestead Street.
Upon arrival officers observed a 25 year old male victim suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds to the back. The victim was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
A witness stated, two male suspects in a silver colored motor vehicle (no other description) occupied by two male suspects pulled up next to the victim’s vehicle. As the victim exited his vehicle one of the two suspects began shooting. The shooter, believed to be the passenger, is described as a black male wearing a blue hoodie with Roman numerals and red coloring on it and blue jeans. The suspect vehicle then fled in an unknown direction.
Officers searched the area for suspects to no avail.
