Update: Victim Identified in Death Investigation in the area of Batchelder & Longmeadow Streets

The victim has been identified as Victor Otoadese, 21 of Quincy. Otoadese was fatally shot in Roxbury on November 28, 2012.

The facts and circumstances of the incident are as follows:

At about 2:45pm, on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to an outside scene for a person or persons shot in the area of Batchelder and Longmeadow Streets in Roxbury. On arrival, officers located two male victims both suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. Both victims, suffering from life threatening injuries, were transported to the Boston Medical Center. One of the victims, a male in his early twenties, has been pronounced deceased. The second victim is being treated for life threatening injuries.
