UPDATE: Boston Police Arrest One in Connection to Death Investigation at 1050 Tremont Street

On Tuesday, November 20, 2012, members of the Boston Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit located and arrested David Yarde, 22, of Mattapan in connection with the shooting death of Deandre Russ, 22, of Boston.  

Yarde will be charged with Murder and is expected to be arraigned today in Roxbury District Court.

Less than a month ago, on Sunday, October 28, 2012, officers from District 4 (South End) responded to a radio call for shot spotter activation in the area of 1050 Tremont Street, Boston. On arrival, officers located a male victim, Deandre Russ, suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.
