Death Investigation in area of 114 Leicester Street (Brighton)

At about 5:30pm, on Monday, November 19, 2012, officers from District D-14 (Brighton) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 114 Leicester Street in Brighton. A search of the area enabled officers to locate a male in his early twenties suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim, suffering from a life threatening injury, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
