Boston Police Investigate Breaking and Entering Incidents in the North End

At about 5:45pm, on Friday, November 16,2012, officers from District A-1 (Downtown) responded to a radio call for Breaking and Entering at 139 Salem Street, North End.

Upon arrival officer were made aware that two separate apartments had been broken into and  several  items taken from the apartments. An additional apartment’s door was damaged but access was not gained.

Female victim #1, stated that when she arrived home she discovered that her front door had been forced open.  Officers observed damage to her door lock and frame. Female victim also reported items were taken from her apartment.

Male victim #2, stated that when he arrived home he discovered that damage had been done to the frame of his front door but entry was not gained.

Female victim #3, reported that when she arrived home she discovered that the deadbolt to the front door was damaged and entry was gained.  Female victim reported items were taken from the apartment.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding these incidents. Anyone with information is encouraged to call District A-1 Detectives at (617) 343-4248.
