Kudos & Special Thanks to Police Officer Matt Haslett for Helping those Impacted by Hurricane Sandy
Soldiers from the Massachusetts National Guard have been sent to New York City to assist with relief efforts following Hurricane Sandy. The BPD would like to acknowledge and commend Officer Matt Haslett of District E-18 (Hyde Park), who, as member of the 772nd Military Police Company, is currently in New York serving and helping those impacted by last week’s devastating hurricane. To Matt, the entire National Guard and all of New York’s first responders, we say, “Thank you, God bless and God’s speed.”
The Guard is expected to stay in Brooklyn as long as support is needed.
