Who Said Being an EMT Was Easy???

At about 1:35am, on Friday, November 3, 2012, officers from District A-1 (Downtown) responded to a radio call to assist EMT’s at the corner of Arch & Summer Streets. On arrival, officers observed both EMTs on the ground struggling to restrain a white male. Officers promptly interceded and helped the EMT’s gain control of the individual. According to the EMT’s, when they arrived on the scene they observed the suspect on the ground. As they were approaching the individual in order to evaluate his condition, the individual jumped up and began punching and kicking the EMT’s.

Officers arrested Brian Morrison, 28, of Chelsea and charged him with Assault & Battery on an EMT (2 counts).
