Suspects Caught Breaking and Entering in Broad Daylight
At about 3:45PM on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, officers from B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a Breaking and Entering in progress in the area of Waverly Street. The location was updated to Mt. Pleasant Avenue soon thereafter. The call-in witness described the suspects as three black males.
Upon arriving to a house on Mt. Pleasant Avenue, officers observed broken glass, a cut screen window, and a ladder, as well as several individuals peeking out of windows and retreating back inside. Officers repeatedly instructed the suspects to raise their hands and exit the residence. After several minutes, officers entered the house with a K-9 dog unit and located three individuals, from whom they recovered items belonging to the victim.
Officers arrested James Witkowski, 17, of Roxbury, for Breaking and Entering, and two male juveniles, 15 and 13, of Roxbury, for Delinquent to Wit: Breaking and Entering.
