Armed Robbery Suspects Arrested in Dorchester

At 11:37PMĀ on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, officers from C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a call for an armed robbery on Florida Street. The suspects, described as two young black men wearing hoodies, robbed the victim at gunpoint before fleeing the scene.

Officers patrolling the area observed two suspects walking together on Ashmont Street. Upon observing the unmarked police cruiser, the suspects walked in different directions. The officers exited their vehicle and approached the individuals, both of whom were breathing heavily, for questioning. An additional suspect appeared from a nearby parking lot, also breathing heavily. Officers canvassed the area and recovered a BB gun and several items belonging to the victim.

Officers arrested Gines Pena, 18, of Dorchester, and Jean Carlos Senises, 18, of Dorchester, for Armed Robbery. Officers also transported a male juvenile suspect, 16, of Dorchester, to his home. Officers will continue to investigate this incident.
