Death Investigation at 1050 Tremont Street, Boston

At about 3:38am, on Sunday, October 28, 2012, officers from District 4 (South End) responded to a radio call for shot spotter activation in the area of 1050 Tremont Street, Boston.

On arrival, officers located a 22 year old male victim suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center and later pronounced deceased.

The Boston Police Department Detectives recovered a firearm and are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
