UPDATE: Boston Police Seeking Additional Video Assistance in Connection to the Death Investigation in the area of 281 Broad Street

Boston Police Homicide detectives are seeking assistance from individuals who were in the area of 281 Broad Street on Saturday, October 20, 2012, at approximately 2:17am. Detectives are seeking witness photos or cell phone video which may include images of the victim in the hours leading up to his death.

On Saturday, October 20, 2012, at approximately 2:17am, officers from District A-1 (Downtown) were on patrol in the area of Franklin and Broad Streets when officers observed an unconscious white male in his twenties. The victim, who appeared to be suffering from a head injury or head trauma, was transported to Mass General Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The victim has since been identified as Steven Di Roberto, 27, of Worcester.

The Boston Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident and continues to seek witness assistance and potential witness photographs or videos from the area. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
