UPDATE: Victim Identified in the Death Investigation in the area of 281 Broad Street

On Saturday, October 20, 2012, at approximately 2:17 am, officers from District A-1 (Downtown) were on patrol in the area of Franklin and Broad Streets when officers observed an unconscious white male in his twenties. The victim, who appeared to be suffering from a head injury or head trauma, was transported to Mass General Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The victim has since been identified as Steven Di Roberto, 27, of Worcester.

The Boston Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
