Boston Police Need Your Help to Identify a Suspect in an Armed Robbery

At about 6:47am, on Monday, October 15, 2012, officers from District A-7 (East Boston) responded to a radio call for an armed robbery in progress at East Boston Variety, located at 3 Gladstone Street.

On arrival officers spoke with victim, who stated he was just robbed at knife point. Victim said three men were involved in the robbery.

One suspect a black male, in late teens or early twenties, wearing a black sweatshirt with a white stripe down the side. Victim further stated that the suspect gave him a dollar, then pulled out a knife and yelled,”Gimme the money.”

A second suspect was described as black male in his late teens early twenties, wearing a black hoodie with red lettering “Lazy But Talented” with the hood pulled up, black hat with 3 stickers visible on the brim, black pants, and black and white sneakers.

A third suspect ( pictured here) is  described as a black male in his late teens early twenties,  wearing a grey hoodie with horizontal white stripes with dark grey patched on elbows and shoulders, hoodie pulled up over a grey and white winter hat, blue jeans, and black and white Adidas sneakers.  Store security cameras captured pictures of the suspect.

Officers apprehended one of the suspects matching the description given by the victim.  Aden M. Ahmed, 20 of Roxbury, is under arrest and charged with Armed Robbery (variety store). Police are actively searching for the other two suspects.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call District A-7 detectives at (617) 343-4234.
