Boston Police Seek Public’s Help in Efforts to Identify Suspect Wanted in Connection with Bank Robbery at 28 State Street (Pictures Enclosed)

At about 12:38pm, on Monday, September 10, 2012, officers from District A-1 (Downtown) responded to a call for a bank robbery at 28 State Street (Citizens Bank). On arrival, officers spoke with the bank manager who stated that the bank was robbed by a white female. According to the manager, the suspect passed a note to one of the tellers stating that suspect was in possession of a firearm and wanted all the money in her drawer. The suspect was described as a white female with black hair, about 5’4″ in height, wearing sunglasses, a cream-colored shirt and light blue pants. After receiving an undisclosed amount of US Currency, the suspect fled the area on foot.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the District A-1 detectives at (617) 343-4571 and the Bank Robbery Task Force at 617-742-5533.
