Boston Police Investigate Double Shooting in Dorchester
At about 10:06pm, on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for shots fired in the area of 69 Floyd Street, Dorchester. While officers were en-route, the radio call was changed to a person shot at 73 Floyd Street.
On arrival officers located a 25 year old, male victim suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound to his left leg. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center for his non-life Threatening injuries.
At about 10:45pm, officers received information that there was a second shooting victim in the area of 198 Callender Street. The 25 year old, male victim was transported to Beth Israel for his non-life threatening injuries.
The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call District B-3 detectives at (617) 343-4712.
