Citizen Alert for District C-6 (South Boston): Weekly Crime Summary

Robbery:

120472985 on 7/31/12 2:58PM at 750 Columbia Rd victim reported that he was approached by 3 BM’s 17 years on bikes who stated “Run your pockets.”  Suspects assaulted victim and robbed the victim’s I-phone.  Suspects fled towards Boston St.

Residential B&E:

CC# 120478244 on 8/2/12 between 7:40AM & 2:30PM on Crowley Rogers Way victim reported that a Acer laptop, Sony PS3, Sony PS2, and WII gaming system were stolen.  No sign of forced entry.

CC# 120472010 on 7/31/12 between 4AM & 6:45AM on F St victim reported that entry was gained through a window and a Sanyo 42” LCD TV and X-BOX 360 video game console were stolen.

CC# 120476180 on 8/1/12 between 3:15PM & 6PM on Preble St victim reported that an LG home theater system, X-Box, LG blue ray, Apple laptop, Sony camera, Apple I-pod, and USC were stolen.  No sign of forced entry.

CC# 120465812 on 7/28/12 between 12:30AM & 8:40AM on W 6th St victim reported that entry was gained through a window and a Samsung 52” Plasma TV was stolen.

CC# 120465733 between 7/27/12 11PM  &7/28/12 5:30AM on E St victim reported that the apartment door was pried open and a Univega bike was stolen.

Commercial B&E:

CC# 120479246 between 7/27/12 & 8/3/12 Gilbane Construction site 5 Channel Center St victim reported that assorted copper piping was stolen.

CC# 120474898 on 7/31/12 11:15PM at Next Step Living 21 Drydock Ave victim reported that 3 BM’s forced the outer door to the building and stole multiple HP and Dell laptop computers. (See BRIC advisory)

CC# 120469775 between 7/27/12 & 7/30/12 at ZSE Construction site 11 W Broadway victim reported that 400” of copper welding leads was stolen.

B&E MV:

CC# 120472995 between 7/29/12 & 7/31/12 at 39 Old Colony Ave victim reported that a window was smashed and a Pioneer radio and Garmin GPS were stolen.

CC# 120469907 between 7/29/12 1AM & 7/30/12 8:45AM at Mercer St & E 8th St victim reported that a window was smashed and a Garmin GPS was stolen.

CC# 120467926 between 7/28/12 8:30PM & 7/29/12 8:30AM at Holiday Inn Express 69 Boston St victim reported that a window was smashed and a bag containing clothing was stolen.

CC# 120468917 on 7/29/12 between 5:15PM & 6:30PM at 28 Northern Ave victim reported that a bike was stolen from a roof rack.
