Boston Police Investigate Fatal Pedestrian Accident in the area of 393 Huntington Ave

At about 10:25pm, on Friday, June 1, 2012, officers from Area D-4 (South End) responded to a call for an accident involving a bicyclist and an MBTA bus in the area of 393 Huntington Ave. On arrival, officers observed members of the Boston Fire Department tending to the bicyclist, a female in her late twenties. The female was pronounced on the scene.

Detectives assigned to the Boston Police Department’s Accident Reconstruction Team and Transit Police Detectives are currently investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this accident. At present, the cause of the accident is still under investigation and no violations have been issued at this time.
