DEATH INVESTIGATION AT 2 DITMUS COURT IN ROXBURY

At about 12:05am, on Tuesday, July 15, 2008, officers from Area D-4 (South End) responded to a radio call for a person shot outside 2 Ditmus Court in Roxbury. On arrival, officers located a black Hispanic male, in his 20’s, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately transported to the Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced. The victim has since been identified as Alex Burgos, 22, of Boston.

DEATH INVESTIGATION AT 25 WHITTIER STREET IN ROXBURY

At about 2:19am, on Saturday, July 12, 2008, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 25 Whittier Street in Roxbury. On arrival, officers located an 18 year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was immediately transported to the Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced. The victim has since been identified as Kelvin Lara, 18, of Roxbury.
