POLICE COMMISSIONER ED DAVIS AND BPD COMMAND STAFF TO CONDUCT ‘WALK-ALONG’ IN JAMAICA PLAIN

Command Staff Will Be Accompanied by CrimeStoppers Unit and Safe Street Team

WHO: Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis, BPD command staff, officers from the CrimeStoppers Unit and the Safe Street Team

WHAT: Commissioner Ed Davis will conduct a ‘walk-along’ in the area of Centre and Lamartine Streets in Jamaica Plain. In response to last evening’s firearm activity, Commissioner Davis is deploying additional patrols to the area to increase visibility and distribute information on the BPD CrimeStoppers program.
