COMMISSIONER ED DAVIS TO HONOR LOCAL RESIDENT

WHO: Mayor Thomas Menino; Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis; Boston Police representatives from District E-18 (Hyde Park) and Boston resident Juan Santiago.

WHAT: Mayor Thomas Menino and Police Commissioner Ed Davis will commend the bravery of local resident Juan Santiago. Mr. Santiago was instrumental in assisting a local teen, who was a victim of an armed robbery. Mr. Santiago’s efforts led to the safety of the victim and the ultimate capture of the assailant. The city will take this opportunity to recognize this brave citizen for his courage and willingness to assist a neighbor in need.
