Today the Boston Police Department arrested the following individuals in an effort to improve the quality of life for law-abiding citizens living, working and visiting the Boston Common area (Districts A1 & D4):

· Brandi Hintze, 31, of Methuen for Possession of Class A Drugs.
· Mark Edmond, 18, of Mattapan for Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws, Possession of Class D Drugs With Intent to Distribute, Possession & Distribution of Class B Drugs.
· Darrin McFadden, 43, of Roxbury for Larceny of a Person.
· Bernard Long, 34, of Brockton for Possession of Class A Drugs.
· William Hart, 45, of Dorchester for Possession With Intent to Distribute a Counterfeit Substance.
· Jack Patterson, 48, of Malden for Possession & Distribution of Class A Drugs, and Possession & Distribution of Class B Drugs.
· Wayne Brooks, 48, of the South End for Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws & Distribution of Class B.
· John Brown, 45, of Boston for Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws, and Possession & Distribution of Class B Drugs.
· Ronald Lomba, 38, of Mattapan for Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws, and Possession & Distribution of Class B Drugs.
· Tracy Smith, 38, of Boston for Distribution of Class B Drugs.
All individuals with be arraigned on Monday, February 11, 2008 in Boston Municipal Court.
