At about 10:33pm, on Sunday, January 20, 2008, officers from Area E-5 (West Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person shot at 232 Cornell Street in Roslindale. On arrival, officers located two victims inside the location, a 12 year-old male and an 18 year-old male, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to the Boston Medical Center where the 12 year-old is being treated for life-threatening injuries, while the 18 year-old victim is being treated for non life-threatening injuries.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Area E-5 detectives at (617) 343-4566.
