CONFIRMED SHOOTING AT 31 BARTLETT STREET

At about 2:30pm, on Wednesday, November 14, 2007, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 31 Bartlett Street in Roxbury. On arrival, officers located a 17 year-old black male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. That individual was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
