CONFIRMED SHOOTING AT YORK STREET

At about 12:37am, on Saturday, October 13, 2007, officers from Area B-3 (Mattapan/Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 128 Glenway Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located an individual suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. According to the victim, he was driving along York Street when three black males, with guns drawn, approached his motor vehicle and ordered him out of the car. The victim then told officers that, after being robbed, the suspects shot him and took off in his motor vehicle. The victim was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
