BOSTON POLICE RECRUITS HONOR FALLEN HEROES

This morning sixty-seven recruits from Boston Police Department recruit class 46-07 stopped by the West Roxbury Fire House during their regular morning physical traning to lay a wreath in honor of the fallen firefighters.

The sixty-seven recruit officers stood at attention during the ceremony and all of the onlookers seemed to be quite moved by the ceremony and the gesture. The on-duty firefighters came out of the firehouse as the recruit class presented arms and there followed a moment of silence. This display was so moving that passing traffic on Centre Street stopped to observe what was taking place and show respect.
