BENEFIT RIDE FOR KIDS WITH CANCER

WHO: Cops for Kids with Cancer, founded in 2004 by Captain John V. Dow who retired from the Boston Police Department and also served as the Chief of the MBTA Police Department. John worked tirelessly for the kids with the help of Father James Lane, the first Boston Police Chaplain. Father Lane and John Dow passed on earlier this year, and we have rededicated ourselves to carry on this cause in their memory.

WHAT: As part of an ongoing effort to assist children afflicted with cancer, Cops for Kids With Cancer announces its 2nd Annual “Flight of the Angels” motorcycle run. The first 400 riders will receive tee shirts. Hamburger & hot dogs will be served at the end of the ride. $20 per motorcycle and $10 each additional rider.

WHEN: Sunday, September 23, 2007. Registration at 9:30am and the ride begins at 11am.

WHERE: The ride begins at Florian Hall in Dorchester and ends at the Hilltop Athletic Club in Kingston, MA.
