MAYOR MENINO AND COMMISSIONER DAVIS TO ANNOUNCE COMMUNITY POLICING INITIATIVE


WHO: Mayor Thomas M. Menino, Police Commissioner Edward Davis, Codman Square Health Center and community member Cynthia Loesch, BPD Command Staff and department members and clergy members

WHAT: Mayor Menino and Commissioner Davis will announce details surrounding a community policing initiative.

The event set up will include the presence of many officers and community members. The CrimeStoppers Unit along with “McGruff the Crime Dog” will also be present.

WHERE: Codman Commons in Codman Square
Corner of Talbot Ave. and Washington Street in Dorchester

WHEN: Tuesday August 21, 2007 at 5:00 pm
