Confirmed Shooting On Brunswick Street

This morning at 1:28am, officers from District B-2 responded to a radio call for a person shot at 31 Brunswick Street. On arrival, officers located 19 year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center and is in serious condition. Further investigation revealed that an Alliance Security Guard discharged his firearm, after allegedly being fired upon by an unknown suspect who fled scene and was not apprehended. At this time the Boston Police Firearm Discharge Investigation Team is investigating this incident and will provide more details as they become available.
