UPDATE TO DEATH INVESTIGATION AT 6 SHANDON STREET

Homicide Victims Identified

At about 11:19pm, on Thursday, July 12, 2007, officers from Area B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a call for shots fired in the area of Franklin Hill and Shandon Streets. On arrival, officers located two individuals suffering from gun shot wounds. Both victims were transported to the Boston Medical Center where they were later pronounced. One victim has been identified as Jeffery Jones, 42, of Mattapan. The second victim has been identified as Jarrid Campbell, 27, of Roxbury.

Boston Police are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact the Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
