SHOOTING INCIDENT CONFIRMED AT 2 GLENARM STREET IN DORCHESTER

At about 10:00pm, on Saturday, July 14, 2007, officers from Area B-3 (Mattapan/North Dorchester) responded to a radio call for shots fired in the area of 2 Glenarm Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located two individuals, a 15 year-old and a 16 year-old, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were immediately transported to the Boston Medical Center where they were treated for non life-threatening injuries.

SHOOTING INCIDENT CONFIRMED AT 11 WILMORE STREET IN MATTAPAN

At about 10:30pm, on Saturday, July 14, 2007, officers from Area B-3 (Mattapan/North Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a person shot at 11 Wilmore Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located three individuals, a 9 year-old, a 15 year-old and a 16 year-old, all suffering from gunshot wounds. All three victims were immediately transported to the Boston Medical Center where they were treated for non life-threatening injuries.

Boston Police are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding both of these incidents. Anyone with information about either is strongly urged to contact the Area B-3 Detectives at (617) 343-4712.
