Bank Robber Attempts Get-A-Way VIA Bus

Yesterday at 11:46am, officers from District D-4 responded to a radio call for a bank robbery in progress at the Citizens Bank at 1355 Washington Street. The suspect passed a note stating he was in possession of gun. No gun was shown or found. A description of the suspect was broadcasted as a white male, thin build, 6’-0”, wearing grey shorts, a button-down shirt, a dark colored hat, and eye glasses. The suspect was observed boarding a MBTA bus at the intersection of West Dedham and Washington Streets. Gregory Noga, 40, of Malden was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery.

Two Arrested After Throwing Bottles and Public Drinking

This morning around 2:13am, officers from District A-1 were patrolling the financial district at the time when the bars and nightclubs are closing. Officers were stopped in traffic on State Street near Congress Street when their attention was drawn to three unknown males. Officers observed two males throwing glass beer bottles at passing motor vehicles. A witness, who works security at 60 State Street, stated that the males were urinating on the wall when he first observed them. They were asked to leave, but refused, becoming agitated and smashing beer bottles on the ground near the building as they walked away. Jacob Altman, 24, of Cambridge and Dean Capparelle, 23, Revere were arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Drinking Alcoholic Beverages in Public.

Suspect Arrested After Assaulting An Officer

This morning around 2:21am, officers from District D-4 were on patrol in the area of 262 Newbury Street, when an unknown individual stepped into traffic, blocking the police vehicle. Officers stated the suspect then began banging on the hood of the police vehicle with his hands. The officers stepped out of the vehicle to question the individual when another unknown male approached the vehicle from behind, striking the officer. Officers announced their presence and stated that they were Boston police officers. Officers made several unsuccessful attempts to get the individual to move along, but the suspect would not cooperate with the orders. Alain Duchemin, 23, of Cambridge was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Disorderly Person and Resisting Arrest.
