UPDATE TO 26 LEROY ST. INCIDENT

VICTIM SUCCUMBS TO INJURIES

At approximately 2:44 pm on June 3, 2007, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a person shot at 26 Leroy Street. On arrival, officers located a black male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was rushed to Boston Medical Center where he was treated for life-threatening wounds.

The victim, now identified as Hosteene Isaacs, 39, of Dorchester, has died as a result of the injuries he suffered. Homicide detectives are actively investigating this case. This incident occurred indoors and investigators do not believe that this was a random attack.
