DEATH INVESTIGATION AT 3146 WASHINGTON STREET

At about 5:13am, on Sunday, April 8, 2007, officers from District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to a radio call for a person shot at 3146 Washington Street. On arrival, officers located 19 year-old Cheyenne Baez suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was then rushed to the Brigham and Women's Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced.

In association with this incident, Boston Police have arrested Enrique Baez, 17, of Jamaica Plain and charged him with Manslaughter, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (2 counts) and Possession of a Firearm with Obliterated Serial Numbers.
