POLICE SEEKING MURDER SUSPECT

The Boston Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a murder suspect.

On Thursday February 8, 2007 at approximately 2:53am, officers from District B2 responded to a radio call for a person shot at 651 Warren Street. On arrival, officers observed a victim lying on the ground suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was rushed to Boston Medical Center where he was soon pronounced. The deceased victim has been identified as Tyrice Brown, 18, of Roxbury.

Homicide investigators have identified the murder suspect as Jose M. Delacruz, 21, of Dorchester. As a result of ongoing investigative efforts, detectives identified Delacruz as the suspect and were granted an arrest warrant from Roxbury District Court charging Delacruz with Murder.

Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown
Height: 6 ft. 2 in.
Weight: 230 lbs
Last Known Address: Dorchester
