WHO: Boston Police Superintendent John Gallagher, and one of the Boston Police ‘Safe Street Teams’

WHY: The Boston Police Department’s ‘Safe Street Teams’ is the latest community policing efforts focused on a proactive and preventative crime reduction strategy. Commissioner Davis continues to deploy prevention teams known as “Safe Street Teams” in areas experiencing disorder and violent crime.

NOTE: ** Media is invited tonight to walk along with the Boston Police ‘Safe Street Team’.
