Early Morning Shooting Claims One Life

Boston Police are investigating a shooting at Geneva Avenue and Westville Street that occurred early this morning leaving one dead.

Today at approximately 3:58am, officers from District 11 responded to a radio call for a shooting victim at Boston Medical Center. Officers located a 19-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim later succumbed to her injuries. Boston Police believe that this incident is related to an after hours party that occurred in the immediate area.

Boston Police recovered ballistic evidence and continue to investigate the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
