Many Jobs, One Career, Boston’s Future…Join the BPD
BPD To Visit South Bay Mall for Day-Long Recruit Event

WHAT: Boston Police Department continues its aggressive recruiting strategy designed to inspire the highest quality and most culturally diverse applicants to sign-up for the state administered civil service exam scheduled for May 19, 2007. The sign-up deadline has been extended to April 23, 2007.

On Saturday, aspiring police officers will be able to visit the recruit command center to sign-up and have their exam fee processed all at one location. Still with three weeks remaining, 2007 statistics indicate that the amount of minority candidates has grown to close to 49% (an increase from years past). Boston Police are confident that our numbers will continue to climb as we approach the sign-up deadline.

The Boston Police Department is looking for the best and the brightest applicants, those with pride, integrity and a sense of commitment. To support the department’s community policing philosophy, the BPD seeks to identify dedicated individuals who desire to give back and make a difference.
