On March 28, 2007 at 5:22pm, officers From District 3 (Mattapan) responded to 870 Blue Hill Avenue for a report of a person shot. On arrival, officers located James Williams, 24, of Dorchester at the corner of Blue Hill Avenue and Talbot Avenue suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Williams was transported to Boston Medical center where he succumbed to his injuries.
