Victim Identified in Beaver Street and Cleveland Street Homicide

On February 18, 2007 at 11:05pm, officers from District 18 responded to a radio call for a motor vehicle accident with a pedestrian struck. On arrival, officers located the victim, a black male, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Beth Israel Hospital by ambulance where he was later pronounced. The victim has been identified as Maurice Bogust, 22, of Dorchester.
