Death Investigation at Beaver Street and Cleveland Street

Last night around 11:05pm, officers from District 18 responded to a radio call for a motor vehicle accident with a pedestrian struck. On arrival, officers located the victim, a black male, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Beth Israel Hospital by ambulance where he was later pronounced.
