Four People Arrest at Loud Party
Last night at 11:57pm, officers in District 14 responded to a radio call to investigate a party at 49 Gardner Street. On arrival officers could hear loud music emanating from the first floor. Officers were unable to gain entry via the front door knocking or ringing the doorbell. Officers walked to the rear door where they encountered an individual who identified himself as the doorman for the house party. Officers observed guide ropes that are commonly used at large events, theatres or nightclub. These guide ropes were also observed inside the dwelling. Once officers entered the resident through the rear door most of the light bulbs were blue in color and the entire first floor was dimly lit. Officers began ordering everyone to leave the property; it became evident that every room on the first floor was completely occupied wall to wall with people. Every level of the house including the basement was filled with partygoers. Once inside the basement the smell of beer and marijuana was clearly evident. Steven Bercovitch, 20, Jason Larian, 20 and Samuel Friedman, 19 all of Allston were arrested and charged with Disturbing the Peace and Keepers of a Disorderly House.
Cabbie Cries No Fare
Last night at 11:58pm, officers in District 1 responded to a radio call for two cab drivers fighting outside of the Hilton Hotel at 89 Broad Street. On arrival officers spoke with the first victim who stated he was waiting outside the hotel for a fare, when a cab pulled up and let out two passengers. The second victim stated that after he dropped two passengers off and was about to pull off when two other passengers jumped into his cab. The first victim was upset and ran up the cab and punched the second victim in the arm. At that point both cab drivers began fighting. Both refused medical attention.
Motor Vehicle Stolen at Gunpoint
At 12:12am, officers in District 11 responded to a radio call for a carjacking outside of 17 Lindsey Street. On arrival officers spoke with the victim who stated she started her car and was walking to the rear of the car to place items in the trunk, when a dark skinned black male wearing a black stocking cap, black jacket and black jeans grabbed the victim and stated “get out. The victim went on to state that the suspect pointed a handgun at her and then got into the vehicle and fled down Lindsey Street taking a left on Waldeck Street.
