Roll of Honor: Joseph Mullen

Today is the anniversary of the line-of-duty death of Boston Police Officer Joseph M. Mullen. On this date in 1972, Patrolman Mullen was struck and killed by a truck while on a construction detail. On this day we remember Officer Mullen’s sacrifice, and all other Boston Police officers who gave their lives to protect their fellow citizens.
